Industrial manufacturing is undergoing change - and so are its technological requirements. The manufacturing sector, where automation has so far been used primarily to increase output, is making new demands on management in the face of rising costs, scarce human resources, generally declining availability, and constantly changing consumer demand. The quest for flexibility tends to replace the paradigm of production volume and speed in manufacturing.
In this situation, industrial robotics plays increasingly important role. It is becoming more and more accessible in several respects - also and especially in SME industries. This makes the potential for manufacturing and production, research and education, and society in general more exciting than ever. Our technologies at HAHN Robotics and HAHN Ruhrbotics increase your competitiveness. We offer you industry-specific solutions and take the technological quantum leap towards automation and Industry 4.0 together with you.
Continental AG and HAHN Robotics are jointly developing bin picking automation. Robots with 3D vision systems automatically scan, pick, and hang parts on an electroplating rack.
Continental AG and HAHN Robotics are jointly developing an automation solution for cable assembly in the production of hydraulic brake systems. Robot YuMi from ABB grips, centres and assembles an elastic cable.
HAHN Ruhrbotics is developing a system consisting of robots, cameras and conveyor technology for Fischer Hydroforming that automatically saws and deburrs exhaust pipes. A new production record was achieved after only four weeks.
At its plant in Lauterecken, BITO Lagertechnik manufactures plastic container systems for a wide range of applications. These are labelled automatically by a system with a Kuka robot.
